Today at school I found out that  I won a free netbook!!!

My memory has definatley improved from remembering to blog!!!!

270th Blog!!!!

We have to give back our net books tomorrow!!!

It was fun having them and it made our learning more fun at school!!!

The best blog was meant to win a net book but people at school said that was a lie just to get us to blog!!?!!!!

But doing the blog has certainly improved my memory!!!

Remembered to do one nearly everyday!!!

My Blog started of boring with a normal format but I have made it funky with customed headers and stuff…..

So bye bye netbook, nice having you!!!

We had to go in groups and create a Magazine and pitch it to them!!!

The winners got to share £40!!! And there were little runners up!!!

I was the leader of our group, and our Magazine was called ” Choosic” and our slogan was “Choose your Music” Choosic is choose and music together!!! And our magazine was really funky and the people loved the name!!!

It was the pitching that wasnt that good!!! It was pretty good!!! But we only had 2 minutes to pitch everything! So by the time we got to the most important conclusion bit the timer said 10 seconds, so sherry that had to do the conclusion really quick!!!

One group laughed through it for like the first minute!!! It was pretty funny, they were nervous with the microphone and all the people so they had a little giggle fit!!!! It was so funny but felt sorry for them!!!

One fo the challenges we had to dress someone up fashionable using newspaper!!!! I made glasses and bangle things but the girl in our group wouldnt go up so we got no points!!!

But the group that won had my best friend in it so I was happy that they got it!

We took lots of food and had a massive water fight!!!!

It was sooooo Hot!!!! I think it was or one of the hottest day yet!!! We didnt have any water guns so we used bottles!!! I took this massive barral of water and we filled up from that, and then Muthoni tipped the whole thing on me!!! It was freezing!!!! It was ice water!!!! Lots of ice went down my back!!!

But then we ran out of water, so we went to the lesure centre to fill them all up!!! 3 random kids walk into a lessure centre with 5 water bottles and a massive water barral!!! We did get a few looks!!!

Then we ran back to our spot with our blankets an mats and carried on the war!

I had a BBQ the day before so I took loads of BBQ stuff. The chicken was cold where it was in a cooler bag but we left it in the sun and it ACTUALLY heated up, im not joking, it was propperly like it just came of the Barbie!!!

I go on holiday in 9 days, I thought this heat was bad!!!

Really annoyed!!!!

Our school website isnt working!

I can go on any website, google, facebook etc…. But when I load up our school moodle website it says internet has stopped working!!!

It has done that on my computer and nans computer and I cant get on it!!!!

I think it might be down and not working then.

But I really need to email some homework and stuff to teachers, and theres science homework revision on there which we cant get to!!!!

Didnt work yesterday and not today either!!!!

As this is our school blog hopefully my teacher will read it and has he is like one of the main moodle creators he will probally sort it out!!!!!!

Also i watched bolt the movie was cute but really sad in some parts!!!!

Today we were told that our netbooks were going to be taken off of us!!!

That means we ave had them almost a whole year!!!!

We have to gibe them back in 6 days, Wednesday!!!

I really started to get used to just going on my netbook, and stuff but now it wont be mine anymore!!! The School are taking them away!!!!!!!!

I think we should keep them!!!! Most of us are doing Media Studies next year for GCSE so they probally would of really helped!!! The actual laptops they use now take FOOOOOOOOOORVER to load up!!!

But we used them in EH today, to look at websites, what was appealing and stuff to children and we might be making our mini website or something!!!!

Also I am angry but happy, I am happy becuase our Tutor is going to have a baby but then we will have a cover form tutor for about a year which is fine but then the school said she might not come back to us and might be told to start a new tutor group!!!
Also our ICT teacher is leaving!!! No offence but he was like one of the only cool teachers, the rest are grumpy and boring!!!!
Also my Best Friend is moving to kenya for ever!!!!!

2 great teachers leaving, my best friend and yes, THE NETBOOKS ARE LEAVING!!!

As I said in the other netbook update We are using them about twice a week if we are lucky!!!

But I hope if another year group get netbooks or the whole school get them in time, I hope the teachers will use ours as a practice and hopefully use them more. We carry them around school which is fine but when you dont end up using them there a bit of a pain!!!

But I think its made our learning more fun in lessons, It has made it more interactive. Instead of dictionarys or looking for definitions just google it!!!

But I dont think they should and maybe thats why we dont use them all the time because of our handwriting!!!! Everyone has got so used to the computer and facebook and stuff that loads of people cant really write neatly anymore!!! And its key that you can write, not just depend on doing homework on the computer because when we do big exams at school and tests we have to hand write it!!!

But we are using them definiatly in EH tomorrow!!! Whoop Whoop!!!
Just plugged my charger in so it dont run out for tomorrow!!!!

It was pretty cool because we got to go to the theatre and watch part of a show put on by youth theatre and other performaces showing what they could be doing in the next couple of years they are at the school!!!

My friend was in the show so it was nice to see her in it! It was about trolls and she was dressed up in green and stuff!!!!

It was really weird because they had a different time table so the older kids couldnt intimedate them, I got confused what time it was and when I was meant to be back to certain parts of my lessons, I was in french for about 15 minutes then I had to go back……….

Well we were asked to get them out in class and only like 5 of us had them so we started to do the work and then we went to the computer room so everyone had a computer but there wernt enough computers so luckily the 5 of us that had our netbooks went on them.

Everytime we use them not everybody has them so we dont either end up using them or a group of us have to huddle together around one and where they are so small its hard to work in groups with.

But the good thing about it being small is its easy to take places. Like at my cousins wedding I had it in the car playing games and stuff but there was no internet so i made random pictures and stuff. But in the actual hotel I put all the wedding pictures and videos into a mini fim!!!

But when we first got them we used them loads and then for the rest of the year maybe once a week. And now its almost end of school we are using them maybe twice a week if we are lucky!

Our class havent been the best at bringing them in!!!

We went down to BourneMouth for the weekend for my cousins wedding!!! It was really good!!! She looked really nice and it all went according to plan!!!!

I filmed the whole wedding in the church!!!! Some  churches dont allow video cameras so I was hiding it and stuff and at the end I found out you were allowed!!!

The after bit, reception was really fun! It was held at a holiday park so there was a stage and entertaiment already planned. The only entertaiment I didnt like was one of the singers who sang Alexandra Burke songs, I was so annoyed! My Favourite singer!!!

At the beguining of the reception one of the waitresses spilt 3 glasses of champaigne down me!!! I was soaked but it dried up!!!

Our hotel was really nice, except where i am so tall the bed which pulls out from the single was too small, so I basically ended up sleeping on the floor!!!!

We went to arcades and stuff, I won my little cousins bears in the grabber machines.We went to the beach for a little while but my sister wanted to go to more arcades!!!!! I think I have had enough of them for a few more months!!!

But what was handy was I took my netbook so that meant I could upload all the pictures and Videos from myVideo camera onto the netbook and make the final movie to burn to discs. But the bad thing was there was no internet!!! There was in the hotel and when I tried connecting it didnt have a password so I thought great!!! But it came up as it was not safe so I didnt use it!!!

It was such a great weekend!!! Except no lay ins!!!!! Woke up at half six each day because we had to be up on time!!!
